We are having our team meeting after church on Sundays May 16th and 25th ,2010.We have taken another direction in our education process on our local team.We will be studying the Anglican Vision from the Church Teaching Series and "MARK"as story (Second Edition). Also,John Carlson and Maren Kay Welsand are in the process of completing the paperwork to send in to the psychologist and when that is completed they can schedule their appointment. One more step in the process toward ordination.
Please keep John and Maren Kay in your prayers.
The Vestry meeting for May will be on the 16th.

At the Church of Our Saviour we also put together birthday party bags for girls and boys to donate to the local food shelf each month. This month 16 birthday bags were delivered. Just to let you know that there are quite a few children on a waiting list to get a birthday party bag each month.
The loose plate offering on the 2nd Sunday is for birthday party bags.
The 3rd Sunday loose plate collection is for the discrenary fund.
Another outreach is Share-A-Meal which we do twice a year and the next one is on Thursday,May 20th.

Spirit of the Heartland has received a grant from the Roanridge Trust to fund the formation and training of new Ministry Team members.The funds will be available in the 3rd quarter of 2009 and we are grateful and honored that our work in response to the call of the Spirit was selected.
